Sounds of Summer

It's been a beautiful weekend in so many ways.

Last night I found myself wringing sweat from my tank, sneakers slip sliding on a floor greased by the perspiration of an amorous Brooklyn. After a day spent horizontal at Fort Tilden, my skin glowed iridescent against the backlight of a den turned dancehall, accented by the dark silhouettes of strong bodies dipping and twisting true, emitting a hypnotic energy. All in a trance. Beautiful Brooklyn indeed.

And so commences the season of love, syncopated by the sounds of these familiar, soulful beats.. the sounds of my Summer ...
