I'm here with one of them now and within 1 hour he has tricked out my technological sphere. I'll start with the iphone apps. I've downloaded Pro Photo, which has upgraded my 3G to a 3GS with video capture capabilities for only $1.99. With Dragon, free, I can now dictate spontaneous musings and reminders into my phone. Apparently using your fingers is so 2009. Except for when it comes to Autodesk Sketchbook, which has turned me into a dexterous(ish) artiste. Here is my first creation. A bit Ms. Harrisons' 1st grade class, but I'm coming along.
In exchange I've taught him how to prepare and sip a traditional mate (mah-tay), the Argentine tea and communal passtime; and I've introduced him to the nostalgic sounds of the Color Me Badd station on Pandora. Not as geeked or tripped out as his tips but we all have something to contribute, no?
I'm off now, to "bump" some contacts, create some beats and watch all of the high def, pirated movies currently in theatres at www... oop, he won't let me share that gem. Men.
