Life Is Good

The past few days have been lovely. Sleeping in and then working into the afternoon. Stepping out around 5 for some fresh air and then straight into breezy nights. I am super happy here. Relaxed, open, feeling blessed.

Last night it was absolutely beautiful outside. Met a friend for dinner, went for some dulce de leche helado and then walked to Milion. It's a bar housed in an early 20th century mansion in the middle of Barrio Norte. A ridiculously enchanting place with multiple levels, some that look like dens or libraries, some more swank with lucite bars that are lit from within, and then an expansive outdoor area with stone steps that seemed to be the preferred spot for lovers to lounge, sip and smooch. Lovely. I told my friend that all that was missing was a fountain in the center with a sparsely dressed girl dancing. Then it'd be a Fellini movie - ha. We shared a delicious bottle of Syrah-Rose for 33 pesos, about $10 USD. The environment, the company, the conversation, everything was soulful and of quality. A memorable night.

As it warms up here more and more I can only imagine the nights and the experiences will get even better. Just have to make sure I keep working and being productive during the day! Business opportunities are popping here left and right. Some in the art buying/production world, some related to a little side venture I'm flirting with. More to come!
